I have recently installed Windows 10 bit Pro and I still have DX 11, and after all updates, still 11, although all the nvkdia and one of the main reasons directx 12 nvidia windows 10 64 bit migrating to the 10 is the ability to use GPU on more than 1 core, and after update seeing this made me sad at least. Tried all of the following and after days of frustrating steps I ended up having less stable Wibdows as newer updates drain more and more of my CPU Is DX 12 already out or is this all just talk and dream about it being able to spread my GPU on multiple cores?

What it reports as the DirectX-Version is a result of the feature set supported by your graphic card driver. And switching to an older Windows version which do not support DirectX boot for windows 10or Linux which does not direcctx DirectX at all will not help you.

Yes, I know that that switching to older windows will not help me get DX12, I was pointing out that win 10 is still way too bogus because the newest windoss makes a PC get stuck after resuming from sleep plus all other issues. Hope to see that gets resolved and DX gets standalone installation although it can be in other ways made as win 10 only update.
